There are many different companies that can install a networking system into a building. But like many elements of the business world, many of them have subtle differences that aren’t immediately obvious.
Various contractors tend to have different focuses when it comes to the physical infrastructure and installation technique. This helps to separate them from one another, so different fields of specialisation are opened up. But it also makes choosing the best one a little trickier.
The contract should always be offered to the network installer that offers services as close to the requirements of the building as possible. This may be an obvious point, but too often do network companies advertise lucrative options that aren’t directly related to the specific needs of the building project.
This can lead to design conflicts later on in the development of a project and cause more financial damage than the initial savings made from the ‘cheaper’ contractor.
